Protection caps for windmills in Storebælt
The installation of the 7 windmills north of Sprogø yearly produces 66 mil. kWh, which covers the energy use for the running of all Sund and Bælts infrastructural facilities.
Sund and Bælt was hereby the first infrastructural company in Denmark, who’s facilities are CO2 neutral. To protect the thread and nuts in the bottom of the towers, they used a special assembled protection cap, COM M36-G308 in RAL 7035/Grey.
